⚡ETF Pulse

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how TechSavvy Services LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use ETF Pulse. By using the service you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information
  • Email address and password hash (stored securely by Supabase).
  • If you sign in with Google, your Google account email and profile name.
Usage information
  • Which ETFs you view, add to your watchlist, or add as holdings.
  • AI requests made (counted for rate-limiting on the free tier).
  • Pages visited and features used, collected through standard server logs.
Payment information
  • If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your full card number.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account.
  • To deliver your saved watchlist, holdings, and personalized AI insights.
  • To process and manage your Pro subscription via Stripe.
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To contact you about your account, subscription, or material changes to this policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Account and usage data is stored in Supabase (Postgres database hosted on AWS). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

5. Portfolio and Watchlist Data

Holdings and watchlist data you enter is stored in your browser's local storage by default. If you are signed in, this data may be synced to your account to enable cross-device access. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. AI-generated portfolio briefs are cached server-side keyed to your ETF tickers (not your identity) to reduce API costs.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Polygon.io — market data (we send ticker symbols to their API; no personal data is shared).
  • Anthropic — AI model inference for ETF summaries and portfolio briefs (we send ETF names/tickers; no personal data is shared).
  • Vercel — application hosting and CDN.

7. Cookies

ETF Pulse uses cookies and local storage to:
  • Maintain your authenticated session (via Supabase auth cookies).
  • Remember your watchlist and holdings if stored locally.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records required for tax purposes, retained for 7 years).

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@techsavvyservicesllc.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

ETF Pulse is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
